[C-Blog] Vistaprint Review and T Shirt Buying Guide

Vistaprint is an online website where we an order printed items like mugs, T Shirts etc. My experience with Vistaprint was good enough. They usually say they deliver on or before the expected delivery date. However, this time they shipped only on the deliery date, but managed to speed up and get the item delivered the next day. So one day delay from expected date of delivery.

[C-Blog] Airtel's Child Plan Policy Is Like Asking a Student to Pay Yearly Fee Every Time He Changes The Division For The Same Course

Is it fair to ask a student to pay yearly fee every time he/she changes division in school. In Airtel family plan, a child can opt to pay yearly rental. Every time you change parent, your one year rental gets lapsed and need to pay it again for an year.

With Airtel corporate myplan family 299 or 499, you can add a child and pay an advance rent of 399 for one year. Even when moving across from one parent to another parent number within the same corporate in the same plan, you need to pay the whole year rent.

[C-Blog] How To Link Mobile with Adhar - With and Without Visiting Store

You can link adhar by visiting a store or just from mobile or internet. The notes here are specific to Airtel, should be similar for other providers too.

1.     Visit the nearest Airtel Store with your Aadhaar number to complete the re-verification process. You will receive the verification code (OTP) on your Mobile that would be authenticated during re-verification process.

 2.     Dial 14546 from the number which needs to be verified and follow instructions.

Postpaid Unlimited Calls (With Roaming) - Airtel, Vodafone, Idea, Jio

Currently most mobile operators provide unlimited calling plans within India. While some of them are not available while in Roaming, some are available while Roaming. Here, we will discuss the started plans (as of now) that are available in Roaming too. Jio anyway has the same tariff in roaming as well as in home state.

349 plan has 10 GB data for a month.

Currently there is a promotion to get the benefit 10 + 10 GB for two months.

It Is High Time Other Providers Too Follow Jio Queued Recharges

When you recharge a voucher when existing plan is active, Jio will queue it and make it available once your existing plan gets over. For example, if I recharge for 303 and 503 together in Jio, it gets queues up and can use one after the other/

However, other providers will kill your current plan and activate the new plan effective the date of recharge. This means part of your old plan is lost. Other providers provide good offers mostly before the expiry of your current offer to get benefited from this lose.

Airtel Data Carry Forward Explained

We were getting contradicting information about Airtel's data carry forward from different customer care representatives. So we decided to try it out on our own, to help our users as well as Airtel customer care representatives.

Many customer care represent said data will carry forward only to next immediate cycle. But today we can see that it is not true. Whole of the data (previous + current) from previous cycle got into the new cycle.

Even a degrading plan change was doe in the cycle.

Airtel Itself Is Confused With Airtel Postpaid Promises

Airtel has recently launched few offers which they claim as Airtel Postpaid Promise. Interestingly, Airtel customer care itself is not sure about the promises. For example, consider the below two promises.

Is Airtel Family Plan Defeating the Purpose of Linking Adhar?

Airtel is providing two versions of family plan. One with limited plan and one with unlimited. While you can add a family member for as low as 33 per month in corparate family plan (limited), you can add a member for 299 for the unlimited infinity plan.

However there is a catch. All connections should be in one person't name and should be linked to one Adhar card. Is it defeating the purpose of linking individual adhar to mobile connections. With airtel family, a family will have one adhar linked instead of per person adhar.
