[C-Blog] How To Link Mobile with Adhar - With and Without Visiting Store

You can link adhar by visiting a store or just from mobile or internet. The notes here are specific to Airtel, should be similar for other providers too.

1.     Visit the nearest Airtel Store with your Aadhaar number to complete the re-verification process. You will receive the verification code (OTP) on your Mobile that would be authenticated during re-verification process.

 

 2.     Dial 14546 from the number which needs to be verified and follow instructions. 

a)      Please ensure that your address as per Aadhaar records is of the same state as your Mobile Number.

b)      You will receive an OTP on the mobile number which is registered against the Aadhaar Number. 

c)      Please follow instruction on IVR and enter this received OTP to complete re-verification.

d)      Post verification of OTP submitted by you, you will get the success message for completion of re-verification process.

 

 3. Re-verification Process through web, logon to https://www.airtel.in/verify-mobile-for-aadhaar-reverification:

Step :1

1. Open Web portal (airtel.in) and navigates to mobile verification through Aadhaar page.

2. Selects category ¿ NRI/Senior Citizen/Physically challenged and enters mobile number

3. Provides your declaration and generate OTP (OTP will be sent on Airtel mobile number, incase of dongle OTP will be sent to RTN)

5. Enters the OTP and submits request

6. After successful OTP validation, Provides relevant details in the CAF (name, address, DOB, Gender, alternate number, no. of existing connections, POI details)

7. Uploads relevant documents as per the NRI/Senior citizen/Physically challenged flow

8. Customer uploads latest colored photograph and submits request 

9. Unique transaction id generated and sent to Customer through SMS

 

Step -2 :

Seek help form trusted person (Friends / Family / Relatives )

10.  Trusted person opens Web portal (https://www.airtel.in/verify-mobile-for-aadhaar-reverification/approve)

11.  Trusted persons enters Customer mobile number (to be re-verified) and Unique transaction id 

12.  Post successful validation, Customer details (name, photo and mobile number to be re-verified) are displayed to trusted person

13.  Trusted person provides consent for verification of the customer mobile number

14.  Trusted person enters his/her Aadhaar number and submits request

15.   After validation (trusted person has not verified more than 5 connections), Airtel sends request to Aadhaar for OTP generation

16.  Trusted person receives Aadhaar OTP on his/her registered mobile number

17.  Trusted person enters OTP on the website and submits request

18.  Post successful Aadhaar authentication through OTP process, request is successfully submitted and Doc task is created at back end

19.  SMS sent to customer for successful request

20.  Back end team validates attached documents and closes the Doc task (Task will be closed by central back end team)

21.  Digital CAF is generated and stored and Customer demographics will be updated in CRM

22.  Process completed.

You will receive an acknowledgement SMS post 24 hours and you can reply with "REJECT" within 3hrs in case you have not requested for Aadhaar verification.

Other Important Information:

1. Your number should be active

2. No SIM change is required

3. If you have more than 1 mobile connection, Aadhaar verification will be required separately for all the connections
