3BHK people were the minority within the apartment and within the association. I decided to talk against the majority; not just because I was part of the minority, but also because I felt that it was the right thing, and I have explained it in the previous chapter. I had to fight hard as this was a fight against the majority. I had to fight against few of my friends. Because winning against majority was not that easy. Watsapp was the war field in our case. I had got too much excited and went to see the victory, after a person whom I respect most in the association had told me that he too feels there is some dictatorship going on. This had made my beliefs of a dictator, as strong as rock. 

Many things happened all throughout. One of the owners wanted to know about the proposed plan and asked the question in the watsapp group. Another association member suggested to check directly with treasurer. He, along with few others and me, called up treasurer and put across the points in favor of a flat model. Treasurer said that even though personally he prefer the flat model, he cannot do anything as majority of the association thinks otherwise. Then vice president and one more owner came and there were some heated arguments. I remained calm all the time without talking much and then the meeting was dispersed. Later treasurer sent a small note regarding his resignation and vice president sent an emotional message regarding treasurer's resignation. No one who had come for the meeting could believe that anything within the meeting could have been the reason. So naturally I thought it is a political drama and asked it in open. In that particular time I had really thought it is a political drama because there was no real need for it. That was the time when all avengers decided that I should not be part of them. Eventually other Avengers were quick enough to bring them back.

Even I had requested the vice president and thanked for coming back. And then, one of the avengers who was not at all in the picture started poking me unnecessarily. This person also resigned later after the final decision was taken, but again Avengers were quick enough to decline the resignation and keep him within the team. Another of the avenger also joined him in poking me even when the president had asked them to calm down. This person is a manager by profession and us very good at managing things, but don't think he was very good in understanding others' feelings. Vice president was however decent enough to call me and talk to settle. But all others were fighting in open through our war field. Even when peace was called few people were still trying to troll me over the Avengers group and owners group. My messages in a block wise group was also shared in the owners group by one Avenger asking if he deserved it. All I asked was to share block wise information within the block and not in the owner's group.

The outcome of the meeting in favor of my arguments and this has made me the common enemy of Avengers again. One person, who used to poke me hard earlier, also resigned immediately after the decision; however he was also asked not to resign by other Avengers and he stayed back. It was not him, but me who had to go. Finally I won the war, but losing all my friends and my position within the Avengers. 

Later I came to know that, for some, it has even became a personal issue as their wives wouldn't let them work for association anymore. In the association meeting that followed the decision making meeting, few people did not attend and this was the explanation given by the vice president. I had recently joined a new job and needed two weeks break, before I could participate more in association meetings. After the previous issues, they had made sure either I work like them or move out. So I had to put across this point that it will be very difficult for me to participate in meetings for next two weeks and if it is unavoidable, I will need to resign. Only one person within the association had pinged me asking to hold on for some time and become active after two weeks. But by the time I read that message, my resignation proposal was accepted by president and I was immediately removed from the Avenger's group. 

Immediately I could see, the people who were having wife issues and office issues, coming back and working for the association as before. I agree that they are the people who are far better than me in field work and in talking and convincing people. I did not get a chance to do anything for the betterment of the association on LSI using my skills yet. Language was one barrier and I had even decided to learn the local language. I also believed that a combination of skill sets makes a better team than a group of experts in one field. I am not a manager by profession like few others, but a simple software engineer. I am not a very good field player as well, to do things in the field and get people's appreciation me. I was also going through lots of issues over past few months and none cared to ask. Again Avengers are back united, of course without me, and I am happy too for them. Now, I am the villain and for a villain to survive, he has to act like a villain.
