It is Diwali, one of the major festivals in India, and it spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair. I hope it should be also a victory over our on egos. The outside of IAF were decorated with lights and it looked really great. I believe we should not just restrict the lights outside, but should also light up our hearts to win over our ego. I am writing this with great pain in heart as the Power Trio of IAF association, Mr. Manager aka Mr. Selvam, Mr. Vice President aka Mr. Swarup and Treasurer aka Mr. Sahu, all still keeps their hatred for me even now. 

They even forget the fact that I am also an owner, even though I am not part of the association now. They do not even respond to my queries to the association, and I believe I should get a reply as long as they represent the association and I am an owner. The President, however responds with some delay in most cases, even though he doesn't talk or reply otherwise. I had taken pics of most Avengers and their families during the Independence day celebration, hoping to build a photo collage, but somehow missed it out. I just realized it and send it across to all, and only Mr. Swarup replied back saying the images were nice. At least he had the courtesy to reply back once for those pictures.

It is not just the maintenance model discussions that is the concern. There are more differences in thoughts. Mr. Selvam works as a Manager and has worked in companies like TTK Services Pvt Ltd and Get Friday etc., Mr. Swarup works in an MNC in shifts and he too has got time available during day. Looks like Mr. Sahu also has time as he also works in an MNC in finance domain where he could work from home too. Interestingly his wife (as per Mr. Swarup) is also fine with it as long as nobody questions him on what he is doing. Currently she has asked him not to talk to me as they believe I have scolded him during our fight; in fact, anyone can realize he too had scolded me more. So they have time and skills unlike others, to manage things. 

We had lot of water related issues in my Block recently. Mr. Sahu suddenly sent a set of messages to my block accusing them of not provocatively reporting the issues. He said he has talked to security and they will increase the frequency of water. When I replied back asking what was the previous frequency and current frequency, he did not had any replies. And he never replied back again also. If he can't reply to my questions when he is part of the watsapp group representing the association, why should he be there in the group. Interestingly, the same night water issues came back again. Next day the block owners talked to manager (which I believe should be the right way of doing things) and he said increasing frequency is never a good solution and he will coordinate with security in finding a proper solution.

I am not denying the fact that the power trio is doing a great job monitoring the activities within apartment. They are also getting good recognition from other owners and residents. In most cases, one of the Power Trio will do some work (good work indeed) and Mr. Sandy who is within the association itself congratulates them for the good work, followed by others. I am afraid to congratulate as once I had done and Mr. Ohja said I am being a politician. This is where my thoughts differ from theirs. If I was having decision making powers, I would have made the manager do most of these activities, considering the fact that we are paying him too; even if it means I need to pay him more. But then I will not get claps or thank you messages. Many other people including other association members too agree to this, but don't really speak out; why should you get blacklisted. 

Both Mr. Swarup and Mr. Sahu had talked to me after the incident, but after the power trio had their power meeting, they decided that all three will not to talk to me again. The only person who has not talked at all after that is Mr. Selvam and his wife too showed that hatred to my wife in children's play area and after publishing my previous post, she had just come and talked to my wife once and later tries to avoid the face. Irony is that he is a hard core AAP fan who talks against making people "anti-national" in Facebook, but brands and blacklists people who speak against him in the apartment association as "anti-association", and directs other supporters and even his family not to speak to or smile at them or even their kids. 

I am ready to apologize again (even though I have not done any bad more than they have done to me) and also for the fact that my proposal got the approval, just to get to that old days. Are we ready to win over our ego?
