Has Airtel Customer Care Turnaround Time Got Worse After Jio Entry?

Did Airtel customer care experience (people customer care) got reduced after Jio entry? In one side, they are trying to add more automated features and offers. However, manual care has seen a reduction (at least in my recent experiences). Is it because they are reducing people count and making automated systems do most of the work, to save money? However, I did not hear about any lay off in news also.

Whenever I used to send email queries to airtel, they used to reply back within 4 hours. Recently I sent a mail on  19-Apr-2017 2:03 PM asking for a clarification on their PORT offer. It is already 21st and I am going to send reminder 4 along with this link. These days they reply mostly only if something is posted on social media. Let me check if this helps. 

 

Final Update

Got a reply in 4 days. Another request also took 3-4 days. Looks like 4 hours has become 4 days. Anyway moving the status to RESOLVED as I at least got a reply.
