ROYAL SUNDARAM PLUS HONDA ASSURE = FRAUD INSURANCE

Status: 

I had taken Honda Assure car insurance from Roal Sundaram. This is a bumber to bumber zero depreciation insurance. It was verified and approved by the Roal Sundaram insurance representative and then it was serviced in WHITFIELD Honda service centre near Hoodi, Bangalore. I never got any advantage because of Honda Assure. There were two issues as part of the same accident and even agreed to raise two claims as they had directed. It was also delayed for almost three weeks.

To my surprise, I was told during vehicle collection that Royal Sundaram has given few money short and I have to pay that for now, but they will check with them and get back soon and add it as a credit to my account. So on 18-June-2016 I paid 6189. Later I never got the mail from them on the status.

After few months, now when I went again for service (which itself is a costly affair in Honda), I am told that Royal Sundaram did not pay them even the amount they had promised and hence I need to pay Rs. 7000+.  So I have to pay 13000+ for an approved insirance claim with bumber to bumber zero depreciation insurance from Roal Sundaram through Honda Assure.

Worst part is that they did not even let me know any of these (forget explanation for already paid extra money). They were calling continously for service and service itself is very costly. I should have gone for some other brands where I would have had to service only yearly and with much lesser cost. 

I have decided not to collect the car and is planning to move to the court. I will also spend money to give extra publicity through a facebook campaign against Honda Assure and Royal Sundaram for this FRAUD.

Whitefield Honda has said they will take the papers and send me, and put all blame on Royal Sundaram for verifying and not paying the whole amount. I hope they will send this time and not like last time when it was not sent for months.

Will wait for a reply from Royal Sundaram as well.

 

Update as on 23-10-2016

I finally taken my car on assurance from the Service person that the person in question (last service person) will reply back to me on next day itself as he is not able to find any explanation for the extra amount charged to me. He even game me the documents from insurance company side which stated clearly about the amount they had approved.

I had finally taken my car on assurance from the Service person that the person in question (last service person) will reply back to me on next day itself as he is not able to find any explanation for the extra amount charged to me. Till now not call came.

Later when another person from Honda Customer care had called me for feedback, I told about this and later the service person who did the service this time called me. He again said the old service person will call me and explain.

I believe I have the right to know about each and every rupee I spent on anything. I will wait for that reply.
